First modern revival based on 2.E.1: 12 December 1992 at the Liederhalle Stuttgart.
Cast: Matthias Görne, baritone; Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart; Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart; conductor: Helmuth Rilling.

INSTRUMENTATION

Solo Baritone.
Chorus: Soprano, Contralto, Tenor, Bass.
Piccolo, 2 Flutes, 2 Oboes, 2 Clarinets, 2 Bassoons, 2 Horns, 2 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, Ophicleide, Timpani, Sistri [Sistrum], Strings.
